Public Notice Inviting Written Public Comment for Quick-N-Shop

 

A description of the proposed project:

Quick-N-Shop has applied for an Authority to Construct/Permit to Operate to reopen a Dual Phase Soil Vapor Extraction System located at 2590 Butte House Road in Yuba City, CA. The applicant will use this equipment to clean-up the contaminated soil at the site and will be using existing equipment from the previous soil remediation operations.  The process will result in the release of volatile organic compounds and toxic air contaminants that are found in gasoline, such as hexane.

 

The District is currently evaluating the application and hereby invites written public comment in accordance with California Health and Safety Code 42301.6.  Written comments must be received on or before March 27, 2026. Please address written comments to:
