Air Quality Health Advisory

The FRAQMD monitors air quality conditions in Yuba and Sutter counties and may issue an air quality health advisory to notify the public of potentially poor conditions, due to events such as a wildfire.  These advisories can be issued jointly with the county public health officers.  Residents can sign up for air quality advisories by email or text message: Air Quality Advisories.

Current Advisories:

7-21-26 Air Quality Alert: Smoke from the Chute Fire in Yuba County is resulting in moderate to unhealthy air quality conditions in Yuba County, especially foothill communities surrounding the fire.  Residents should take precautions if they smell smoke.
