Public Notice for Heaven's Gate Pet Memorial Center
Description of the proposed project:
Heaven’s Gate Pet Memorial Center, located at 603 4th Street, Wheatland, has applied for an Authority to Construct/Permit to Operate to install a natural gas-fired animal cremation unit. The cremation process can release toxic air contaminants, such as hexavalent chromium, arsenic, nickel, and others.
The District is currently evaluating the application and hereby invites written public comment in accordance with California Health and Safety Code 42301.6. Written comments must be received on or before July 1, 2024. Please address written comments to:
