NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, pursuant to Section 40826 of the California Health and Safety Code, on Monday, March 18, 2019, at 2:00 PM, the Hearing Board of the Feather River Air Quality Management District (FRAQMD) will conduct a public hearing to consider a petition for a regular variance. Petitioner is Recology Ostrom Road located at 5900 Ostrom Road in Wheatland, California, 95692. The Board will hear the petition at the District Office Joan Bechtel Room, located at 541 Washington Boulevard, Yuba City, California 95991.

Petitioner is requesting relief from District Rule 4.5 and Permit to Operate #29002, condition #B-5 that limits the daily and annual tons of refuse received. Petitioner is requesting to increase tonnage rates to accommodate cleanup of dirt and ash for the Camp Fire relief efforts.

Persons wishing to attend the public hearing should notify the Clerk of the Hearing Board to be informed of any changes regarding the scheduling of the hearing. The petition is available for inspection at the FRAQMD’s office.
