Grant Programs The Feather River Air Quality Management Air District (FRAQMD) provides funding for projects that will reduce air pollution. Information regarding this year's L.E.S.B.P. is available by clicking the link above. Blue Sky Funds Now Accepting Proposals through August 29th, 2008! (aka AB 2766 Motor Vehicle Registration Funds) provides incentive funding for projects that reduce on-road and off-road motor vehicle pollutant emissions (mainly oxides of nitrogen (NOx) and to a lesser extent particulate matter (PM10)). The District formally issues a Request For Proposals. If you would like to be added to the mailing list for R.F.P. please email sandersson@fraqmd.org. An incentive program that focuses on the replacement of older heavy-duty diesel engines with electric, alternative fuel, or cleaner diesel technology, and does not include projects that are less than 50 horsepower, required by law, or regulated by an air district Permit to Operate, such as stationary diesel-powered electric generators. Private companies, public agencies, and the general public that operate heavy-duty diesel engines in California may apply for incentive funds. Funding for On-Road/Off-road heavy duty Diesel Moter Vehicles: CARB's Multi-District Carl Moyer Grant Program Proposition 1B: Guidelines are being developed. Please see CARB website for information. SECAT Funds: The $70 Million Program that cleans up the air one truck at a time. West Coast Collaborative Diesel Emissions Reduction Program: Grant program offered by United States Environmental Protection Agency (US EPA) to repower, retrofit, and replace on-road and off-road heavy duty diesel vehicles. The Sacramento area has been allocated approx. $5,100,000.00. Deadline to apply is July 1st, 2008 |
