PUBLIC NOTICE

Notice of Amending DMV Surcharge

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Feather River Air Quality Management District (District) is proposing to amend the DMV surcharge from $4 to $6 per registered vehicle, as authorized in Assembly Bill 923. This increment can be used towards Carl Moyer projects, agricultural assistance programs, low-emission school buses, and vehicle scrapage. Written comments must be delivered to the District office, 938 14^th Street, Marysville, CA 95901, no later than 5:00 PM on November 23, 2005.  A public workshop will be held at 3:00 PM on November 30 (Wednesday), 2005 at Yuba County Govt. Center, Conf. Rm. #2, 915 8^th Street, Marysville, CA.  The public hearing will take place at 4:00 PM on December 5 (Monday), 2005 in Conf.
