State Ambient Air Quality Standard Annual Geometric Average is 30 ug/m3 (Effective February 2003 the PM10 State annual average was reduced to 20 ug/m3). |
| Annual Geometric and Arithmetic PM10 Averages: The CA annual standard is exceeded when the annual geometric average of all values is greater than 30 ug/m3. The national annual standard is based on the annual arithmetic average, and is exceeded when the average of three consecutive arithmetic averages is greater than 50 ug/m3. |
